Featuring Weston's most technically advanced Strike wood core, this split combines paulownia wood with aluminum stringers to increase toughness while maintaining a damp, lively feel. The Carbon Weave topsheet replaces fiberglass to save weight and add response, while bamboo inserts are strategically placed to increase strength and snap. We're happy to say the Backwoods Carbon retains all the same flex, camber profile, and shape but in a lightweight package for venturing off further and higher into the backcountry.
