The PPQ M2 is a striker-fired pistol with a short, smooth trigger pull and quick reset. The steel slide has a durable, matte black coating that resists corrosion, and front and rear cocking serrations facilitate racking the slide for loading and clearing the weapon. The frame is constructed of tough polymer with a non-slip textured grip surface; and the pistol comes with 3 interchangeable backstraps to customize hand fit. An integral Picatinny rail provides for attaching aftermarket sights and lights. The magazine release is easily reached with the shooter's thumb. The 3-dot, low-profile sights are quick to acquire in a variety of lighting, while interfering minimally when drawing the pistol from a holster or bag. The rear sight is screw adjustable for windage.
