The uppers feature a sturdy combination of waterproof synthetic leather and scratch rubber for abrasion-resistance and time-tested durability for hiking riverbanks and negotiating unseen hazards on the river bottom. The rubber outsoles give us good wet and dry traction while the partial neoprene lining insulates and cushions our feet alongside the soft, EVA foam midsoles. We can wear these boots with any stockingfoot-style waders or pair them with the Simms Freestone Stockingfoot Waders for a perfectly matched set.
