This 29in wheel accommodates the usual Boost standards for progressive trail bikes and, with a 34. 7mm rim width, these wheels are wide enough to allow for more robust rubber, which will allow for ample traction across everything from dirt trails to loose gravel. With this added rim width, there's an opportunity to push the envelope with plus-sized rubber, which will provide the ability to lower tire pressure and increase traction. The WH-MT620's stout and wide build will only benefit your riding when the trail turns to loose rubble and sharp descents. Micro Spline freehubs mean riders will also benefit from increased rigidity when riding over shifty and uneven surfaces.
