Shift ramping and tooth profiles mirror that of its top-tier groups which provide nearly-identical shifting performance with only a slight increase in weight separating it from its pricier siblings. Weather and wear-resistant nickel plated steel cogs and an aluminum spider carrier helps boost the durability and creates plenty of stiffness for crisp shifts and it's fully compatible across all Shimano 11-speed road groups. Additionally, the cog ranges on offer are 11-28, 11-30, and 11-32 teeth which provide ideal ratios for tackling long canyon climbs and blistering descents on the other side and please note that the 11-32t needs a long cage derailleur while the other options are designed for medium length cages.
