With a lightweight frame, mixed-wheel setup, 130mm of VPP suspension, and aggressive geometry, the 5010 has all the ingredients to make a bike that is downright fun. With a 65. 2-degree head tube angle in the high setting, the 5010 is not only a blast to ride but also extremely capable. Short size-specific chainstays ensure a poppy and playful rear end for every size frame, and a steep 77-degree seat tube angle allows us to be in a perfect climbing position when it's time for another lap. This revised version of the 5010 has less anti-squat than the previous version to reduce pedal kickback and provide better traction, and more linear leverage with a sharp increase in progressiveness allows for a more supportive mid-stroke and aids in bottom out resistance and soaking up big hits in the last bit of travel. The 5010 features a chainstay and downtube protector to protect from chain slap and rock strikes, and a shuttle guard allows us to drive to the trailhead with our bike in the back of our truck bed. When we are planning on hitting some more technical and steep trails for the day, the flip chip in the rear shock link allows us to make the 5010 lower, longer, and slacker for more confidence when things get rowdy.
