SRAM's new electronic transmission derailleur is now in a value-packed GX eagle version. The SRAM GX Eagle AXS Transmission Rear Derailleur packs all the same performance features as the XO and XX transmission derailleurs but with a slightly more value-based build and a slightly heavier weight. The new transmission derailleur incorporates an overload clutch that protects the internal motor of the derailleur by being able to move out of the way in the event of an impact. A hanger-less interface that mounts on the wheel axle and a full-mount connection that mounts to either side of the frame increases the durability greatly over traditionally-mounted derailleurs. The Transmission derailleurs have a tool-free cage and clutch assembly, and its protective skid plates and two-piece outer link are replaceable.
