It's remarkably light, given its vintage-inspired design, but it's also impressively durable thanks to a machined bar-stock aluminum construction. A larger-diameter spool increases retrieval rate, while the internally adjustable drag system gives you four settings to choose from. Regardless of how much tension you decide to apply, you'll find the spool is easily palmed to put a little extra pressure on fish that refuse to come to net.
