The wide-mummy construction allows room for us to move in our sleep without sacrificing much in terms of weight and packability giving us the freedom to pack our bags and hit the trail in the face of winter's icy maw. The lightweight 600-fill down has a Down Defender hydrophobic treatment to stay warm and lofty in cold wet conditions and the ripstop shell and liner fabric protects our bag from snags or tears. The internal stash pocket keeps our water bottle or electronics close to our body and surrounded by warmth through the night so we can be ready to hit the trail once the sun thaws us out in the morning.
