Back with a series of updates Ibis fanatics have long anticipated, the Ibis Ripmo receives new frame features and various improvements in capability and fitment for 2024. From ripping up singletrack to chunky descents in the foothills, the Ripmo is better suited than ever for aggressive riding. Now sporting 150mm of DW-Link suspension, a longer wheelbase, and a slacker head tube angle, the new Ripmo is a more capable bike all over the mountain than the previous iteration. The Ripmo now features five sizes, with an Extra Medium size in the middle of its range and a much larger Extra Large size for a broader range of fitment compatibility. In addition to the new range of sizes, Ibis also split up the wheel sizes, giving the two smallest sizes mixed wheels and the three largest sizes 29-inch wheels. No matter what size frame we have, we can run either wheel size thanks to the flip chip on the rear shock link. Another long-anticipated feature is Ibis's new internal frame storage system, featuring a unique lever handle and special edition Ibis x Cotopaxi storage bags. The usual suspects finish off the Ripmo, including chainstay and downtube protectors, a shuttle guard, and silent internal cable routing. The Shimano XT build is equipped with quality components that are fit for any trail rider. Every build of the Ripmo is fitted with the same premium carbon frame, giving us optimal stiffness, durability, and precise handling. Shimano's XT 12-speed drivetrain has a proven track record for precise shifting, and the XT 4-piston brakes have tons of stopping power on tap. The Ripmo is fitted with Fox's new Float 36 Factory GripX fork that sports updated climbing and descending performance and a Factory Float X rear shock for a lightweight yet capable packa...
