Equipped with key updates for 2024, the Ibis Ripley is back and the best to date. Now sporting 130mm of DW-Link suspension and paired with a 140mm fork, the Ripley ramps up its travel numbers for more capability while still maintaining the efficient and fast characteristics we love it for. This bike flies up, climbs, charges descents, and is super efficient on flat ground. The slacker 64. 9-degree head tube angle and the longer reach and wheelbase make the Ripley much more composed in steep, rough terrain than previous iterations. Not only that, but Ibis deployed size-specific geometry, giving us chainstays, seat tube angles, and bottom bracket heights specific to each frame size for a more balanced fit for every rider. Another new feature of the Ripley is the mixed-wheel compatibility; thanks to the flip chip on the rear shock link, we can equip our Ripley with a 27. 5-inch wheel for more agility. Finally, Ibis dropped their new internal frame storage system on us, allowing us to leave the backpack at home and store our gear inside the bike. The X0 AXS Transmission build is top-tier and has premium drivetrain, suspension, and cockpit components to bring us the absolute best on the trail. First up is Ibis's premium carbon frame, which sports a lightweight and durable carbon layup that has a great reputation for durability. Next, SRAM's X0 Transmission drivetrain equips us with a 12-speed drivetrain that shifts electronically for precision and efficiency and sports a huge gear range for any technical climb. A Fox Float Factory DPS rear shock is lightweight and has tons of adjustments so we can tune our ride to our preference, while the Fox Float 34 Factory GripX fork gives us the support and cushion we need to plow down descents or race up a climb. SRAM Code RSC brakes round out this build, providing 4-pistons of power to keep us under control at race speeds.*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, ma...
