Giro's new freestyle-oriented Emerge MIPS Helmet utilizes MIPS Spherical to reduce rotational energy during certain impacts. Two layers of foam with different densities work to manage both high and low energy impacts by moving independently of each other when they are subjected to force. The helmet remains lightweight and low-profile, though, with a sleek design that fits under a hood, and is fully-featured for all-day comfort on the mountain. Giro's Stack Vent system lets moist air out to prevent your goggles from fogging, and vents on the top of the helmet ensure your don't overheat when you're working hard on the hill. Giro integrated its Strap Channel into the helmet to hold your goggle strap comfortably in place if you prefer to wear your goggle strap under your helmet, and also provided an external goggle retainer if you choose to wear the goggle strap on the outside.
