It offers a little extra protection and peace of mind when starting off on days when the skies look ominous but the training has to get done. This semi-transparent lightweight jacket is ideal for keeping mist, cool breezes, and light rain from putting a damper on your ride and adds some much needed insulation on chilly descents. An additional piece of fabric on the back of the shoulders helps keep rain out while in an outstretched position in the saddle. Please note that this isn't a completely waterproof piece as it lacks taped seems, however, it's very water resistant. One of the best features of the Zephyr Jacket is its ability to easily pack into its own built-in compartment so you can stow it into your jersey pocket until its needed. This versatility is much appreciated on shoulder season days when the weather is quick to change and you need quick, packable protection without hauling around bulky gear. The jacket also features reflective accents on the back as well as fluorescent trim and at the zipper to help aid visibility in low light.
