In fact, you'll find it's actually lighter than many of its carbon counterparts, coming in at only 111-grams for the 90-millimeter version. Now that we've established the Energy Stem as light, you're probably wondering how it manages to stay exceptionally stiff and strong. In that case, note the 2014 aluminum alloy construction, which is one of the strongest lightweight alloys available, as backed by extensive use in the aerospace industry. Rounding things out, the Energy Stem is finished with high-gloss black, with the faceplate secured by four titanium screws. The clamp diameter is 31. 8-millimeters for use with standard drop bars. Rise is +/- 6-degrees and stack height is 40-millimeters.
