This helps prevent critical damage that could render your fork useless. The 32mm tool fits the air spring side of Fox 32, 34, 36, and 40-series forks. It also works on the damper side of Fox 32 forks. The 34/36/40mm tool fits the damper side of Fox 34, 36, and 40-series forks. This means that you need both tools if you have a Fox 34, 36, or 40-series fork, as the air spring and damper have different bolt diameters.
