Ergon developed the GE1 Evo Grips for those who prefer a more traditional grip, and plan to run them on wider riser bars typical on the enduro circuit. The GE1 Evo is the evolution of the popular GE1 refined by feedback collected from professional riders. It actively supports the correct torso and forearm position for when the trail points down and because the grip is rotated towards the steering axis by 8-percent, elbows are automatically up and in the attack position. Compared to the standard GE1, the surface texture is even more aggressive and the rubber compound is softer providing optimal grip without having to white-knuckle the bars. A forged inner clamp holds the grips securely to the bars (carbon approved) regardless of how wet it is out or how recently you installed them. The integrated grip end is connected to the inner core for a soft grip end that’s comfortable for your hands even on the extreme ends of the bar. Careful attention was placed on reducing pressure on the ulnar nerve, which is located on the outside hand, reducing hand numbness. The Ergon GE1 Evo Grips come in four colors: Red, Blue, Yellow, and Black, and in two sizes Regular (32mm) and Slim (30mm).
