Your living situation at base camp probably doesn't include heated pools, home theaters and fully stocked bars, but you'll feel like you're living the good life when you're waiting out the storm in the Big Agnes Battle Mountain 2-Person 4-Season Tent. Big Agnes built this tent to maximize living space by giving it a large footprint, two doors, and two vestibules for plenty of storage. The fly is made of durable Dominica ripstop fabric, and the floor is a ripstop nylon. Both fly and floor have been treated with a water-resistant PU coating and finished with fully taped seams to keep moisture at bay when foul weather keeps you walled up for days on end. Ventilation is key to staying dry when you're camping in cold and dry alpine environments, so Big Agnes equipped the Battle Mountain with zippered mesh vents at the front, back, and sides to keep air circulating. Heavy duty DAC NSL aluminum poles with DAC H Clip connectors help to keep the tent up when the winds rip through camp, and high/low internal guy lines and 13 lightweight Mega X stakes keep your shelter from blowing away when it feels like you're living through the first-ever alpine tornado ever recorded. Inside the tent are six mesh pockets to help keep small pieces of gear organized, and there's also an included gear loft to give you a spot to store gear off the ground and increase living space. The Battle Mountain can also be set up with just the fly, poles, stakes, and footprint (sold separately) when you need to trim some weight during fast and light mountaineering missions.
