Atomic BCT Touring Carbon SQS Ski Poles

The Atomic BCT Touring Carbon SQS Ski Poles are backcountry-specific poles with a unique, hybrid construction. The upper shaft is all aluminum, while the lower's composed of carbon, resulting in a lightweight feel for the uphill, and surprising rigidity on the downhill. These poles are adjustable to accommodate any length you prefer on the uphill and down, and the length stays secure with a Power Lock mechanism. Another backcountry-specific feature is the strap, which detaches from the poles under enough tension that emergencies would cause. The men-specific M-Fit grip has EVA foam extending down the pole so you can choke it when you're kickturning on a steep switchback. The powder baskets come in handy when you're skinning through soft, deep snow, and the carbide tip stabs through icy snow with ease.
