ABS's new fully-featured electronic avalanche airbag backpack is here. The ABS A. Light E Set 25-30L is their first electronic deployment system airbag backpack. This airbag backpack utilizes the Alpride E2 system, which is an electronic system that has a fast deployment, can be ready to use immediately after the first deployment, has no travel restrictions, and can be test-fired multiple times. The A. Light E Set 25-30L has ergonomic and padded shoulder straps for comfortable carry, and the release handle is adjustable so we can move it to the most comfortable position. The front of the back has loops to carry ice axes or trekking poles, has gear loops to carry additional equipment, and can carry snow skis in a vertical or diagonal position. Inside the bag, there is a main compartment that has a wrap-around zipper for easy access, a secondary zippered compartment for avalanche safety gear, and a dedicated zippered compartment for the airbag. The bag is made of water-repellent materials to shed any snow or moisture, and an adjustable waist strap and sternum strap ensure we have a comfortable carry all day long.
