The Benchmade® Bugout™ Folding Knife utilizes a lightweight, understated, purpose-driven design, featuring a versatile, drop-point blade. The blade is constructed of premium S30V stainless steel, an exceptionally hard steel (58-60 HRC), which takes on a remarkably sharp edge; it also resists wear and chipping, though it is generally easier to sharpen than other premium steels in its class. Dual thumb studs allow quick, 1-hand opening; and an Axis® locking mechanism ensures the blade won't fold-up during rugged use. Textured, Grivory grip panels provide a high level of strength and stability, as well as an excellent hold. The Bugout folding knife comes with a reversible, tip-up pocket clip and an oversized lanyard hole.
