Mixed Feelings
Pros 1. Price was fine. 2. Cushion is fine. 3. My knees do not hurt. Cons 1. I wear a size 12 (4E) and they are a little bit longer than expected. I am happy that there is plenty of room for my instep so my toes and front of foot are fine. 2. I love that the upper mesh is breathable and roomy, but the material is so soft that it does not stay tied so I can have a descent run as the shoe keeps slipping. 3. I feel like I am fighting the cushion. I like that it is firm so I will live with it, but it is more of a fight than support. Even with all the cons, I still say it is better than the Ghost 16 (garbage), Ghost Max 1 (solid, but cushion wore too soon), and a bunch of other shoes out there. If you are big person, than the Ghost Max 2 has more pros than cons despite how I listed them. lol....

Excellent SHoe!
Right foot completely messed up from wearing other name brand shoe - starts with an H and ends with an A. Also tried the shoe that starts with an A and ends with a C. The Ghost Max 2 is getting my foot back to walkable / comfortable condition, bought 1 pair then 2 others for inside the house and outside the house. Highly recommended!!

Extremely comfortable as soon as I put them on, I'm on my feet anywhere from 13-14 hours straight in the nursing field and I love these shoes, my feet don't hurt and I feel like I'm on a cloud, so I highly recommend these.

Ghost max 2 ruined
Once again , you guys ruined a great shoe ( for the 4E crowd- same for the New Beast - used those for cross training )the original Ghast max was the best fitting running shoe , besides NB, I have had . The 2 is narrower overall , especially in the toe box. Back to only New Balance for me . It’s unfortunate and you changed things drastically just to come out with a new model

Best is brooks !
I'm 17 stone and needed shoes that could handle my weight ,I googled running shoes for large males and brooks came up ,since then I've always used brooks shoes for my running and walking ,I started with trace 2's and walked/speed walked for 11 months on roads and football fields/rugby fields 3 miles a day then when they wore out I graduated to glycerine GTS which is when I started running/jogging again and I continued using them for another year 3 miles a day and also in the gym on the treadmill and on the stairmaster so then I needed to get a new pair so I chose glycerin again which I have to say are the best overall shoes for exercising on all different levels I'm very happy with the first and second pair of glycerins and continue to wear them for gym work and as a very comfortable shoe for my 12 hour shifts as a care giver . I recently bought a pair of ghost max 2 shoes and I love them but they have much stiffer/harder feel all round and a larger roll forward type sole shape ,I've had to break them then in for the last month as they are much more robust than the glycerins which are straight out of the box run ready ! I'm enjoying the ghost max but be warned that they are so, so different than the trace and glycerin ,it's completely changed my running style with the ghost max .... Conclusion .. They are higher and more supportive and stronger all round and slightly heavier too but the finish is top quality, the DNA foam is exceptional quality and comfort the colours are as usual amazing , The tounge padding is good but moves around a lot,the laces are good ,the air cooling is great as usual ,I'll always buy brooks as they always make shoes that the customers want and need to exacting standards and for a 17 stone 245 pound heavy built weight training/running fanatic they suit me and my exercise obsessions very well ...

I have big feet and have always been challenged finding the right shoe, until now! I bought both the women's (size 12) and men's (size 10) Ghost Max 2 and both fit like a dream! I am the walker of a labradoodle and go through 2 pair of shoes a year!

Not for me. My podiatrist recommended this for intestinal Achilles tendonitis. I also have tendonitis in my knee and the ankle support hurt my knee. Going to try the trail kind for firmer support
