Fly through trail miles in Agravic Speed Ultra—engineered for fast, efficient ultra runs
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"When I'm chasing speed on technical terrain, this shoe is my go-to. The rocker design encourages that quick forefoot turnover, and the Lightstrike Pro cushioning gives me just enough bounce without sacrificing stability. It's responsive, light, and has the grip I trust even on slick descents."
When we want to feel fast and light without compromising confidence on the trail, we lace up the Terrex Agravic Speed Ultra Trail Running Shoes. Built in collaboration with TERREX athletes, this shoe brings racing innovation to the ultra-distance mountain environment. The sleek synthetic upper with seamless overlays keeps weight down while offering durable protection from abrasion, rocks, and debris.
At the heart of the shoe is a powerful trio of technologies: a Dynamic Rocker geometry that encourages efficient forefoot running, integrated Energy Rods for added stiffness and propulsion, and responsive LIGHTSTRIKE PRO cushioning that keeps our stride energized over long distances. The Continental™ Rubber outsole delivers confident grip across wet and dry terrain with 2.5mm to 3.0mm lugs that bite into loose ground while maintaining a fluid toe-off.
From alpine singletrack to sun-scorched ridgelines, the Agravic Speed Ultra keeps us moving fast and feeling fresh, no matter how far we roam.

Ultra Shoes
Another great set of adidas Terrex shoes Read lots of reviews online and went true to size (UK11) Fit for me was perfect Whilst still quite new I have used for walking, jogging and running on mixed terrain and contrary to some reviews have not noticed any issues with stability whatsoever (these reviews almost put me off the purchase so glad I took the plunge). The upper material is minimal which is surprisingly comfortable and gives many benefits and the serrated laces whilst very long give you a secure fit - (a thicker version of these would be brilliant in the Freehiker2.0) The initial feel of the shoe on the first 1-1.5km can feel different, but once this passed this point the feel is excellent and they eat up the miles. This is the case for all activities and not just running. Some negative points have also been noted online regarding the heel- again for me this was no issue with a sensible pair of socks such as the Terrex trail runners are perfect partner.

Excellent trail shoe. Great stability.
I am a bigger guy and this is a great, stable shoe for someone like me. Sole wears well.

Comfy, light, true to size
I never thought of buying adidas trail running shoes, as I had bad experience in the past. I found these shoes on over. I thought to give them a try and they really changed my mind. Super comfy true to size. I find them running hot more when the temperature above 15 Celsius, I recommend thicker socks just because they really run hot, mainly at the forefoot.

Great shoe and very comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great shoes for most general trail runs, forest trail, Land Rover tracks etc. I currently have two pairs of the orange speed ultra that I use and have done over the last 18 months and they are still going strong. Looking forward to using these in the upcoming spring and summer trails

If you love Pro3 on the road, Speed Ultra perfect!
Absolutely amazing, lots of reviewers say unstable, if your lower leg strength good you will be fine, more stable than the none plated speed!

Great shoe.
Very comfortable straight out of the box. The shoes do run half a size long though.

Incredible propulsion and bounce in a trail shoe!
What a beautiful shoe! I was very excited to give this one a opportunity as ince i needed a shoe for runnable trails along with dirt/gravel paths. Sizing for me was absolutely perfect, I ordered 10.5 as always and hold and toe box spacing is excellent. I will have to play around with lacing tightness to figure out that best heel hold but that's the case with most shoes imo. The midsole is incredible and I'm sure it will take on the abuse well, the bounce and propulsion is entirely new for me, I have never experienced something like this before. It would be a waste to use this for easy/slow runs since the rocker and midsole are clearly for running at faster paces.

Great foam, narrow toabox and bad support stripes
The foam is great—springy, a bit soft, but not too much. Just very good foam overall. However, I wish the toe box was wider because it felt too narrow for my feet. Even though I have narrow feet, my toes were smashed and started bleeding after running more than 10 miles. The biggest downside for me was the stripes next to the beginning of the laces on both sides, but especially on the medial side. There are four stripes (I think), probably intended for support, but they are placed on the inner side of the shoes. These stripes started rubbing against my feet, causing bleeding and even creating holes in my skin after every 10 miles of running. I really tried to make them work and gave them a chance for about 80 miles, but they just didn’t suit my feet. I hope it’s just me and that they might work better for others.

Love the ASU!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 9.5
I love the ASU and think it's the fastest trail shoe yet! The rocker is perfect for fast trail runs, workouts and races as long as the trail is not too technical. Any gravel roads or smoother single track this shoe flys!
