Ghost 16 Wide Shoe - Women's

Totally different, but not in a good way

Ghost 15 were my favorite shoes and the only ones I could find with lateral longitudinal arch support which I need to prevent footpain. I ordered one of the Ghost 16 to try and although that support is still there, everything else is different. The upper feels incredibly thick/rigid and the heel rubs terribly. I even miss the old woven shoelaces which I loved because they absolutely never came untied. Unless they Ghost 17 is a completely different shoe, I will have to find new shoes again. SO dissapointed. Oh yeah, like another reviewer said, the colors are absolutely AWFUL (and so far the 17s look even worse). What happened to the fun designs and patterns in the 15???

Not wide anymore

Not Wide. I love the Ghost shoe but I hate constant “updates”. The wide is not actually wide any longer. Quality has gone down as well.

I have foot neuropathy and arthritis in my foot, I have tried many brands/styles and the Brooks Ghost by far is the most comfortable and supportive shoe I have tried.

Love the fit, the feel and the all black. Just the right amount of cushioning. As a retiree, it’s my every day shoe.

Wonderful as Always

Wonderful, as always. Been ordering Ghost for 10 years - use them for walking.

Did not work for me.

The Ghost get an A for cushioning and fit great, however, for me the deal breaker is the 12mm heel drop, which is not a good fit for my lower body. I constantly feel as though I am falling forward. Still on the search for a great narrow width running shoe that is both comfortable and fits.

Great show- flexible when walking. Room for toes. Had Ghost 11, absolutely loved. The color choices for 16 are awful. Who decides the colors???!!!

Great light weight. On my feet 8 hours a day. No need to break them in. Out of the box and go. Wider at the toes than the 15 so noticed a little movement at first.

A Walkers Dream.

I use these for walking. It’s my third pair of brooks Ghost. I have bunions and these shoes make walking a pleasant experience.

Extremely disappointing

I have been wearing Ghost sneakers for as long as I can remember. They have always been the most comfortable shoes for me, whether I'm walking, weightlifting, or working a 12-hour shift—they're my go-to. My 15s are starting to wear out, so I decided to purchase the 16s. I'm so disappointed! They don’t fit at all and are extremely uncomfortable. I have to return them and am hoping the 17s will be better; otherwise, I'll need to search for a different shoe.
