Great Jacket

Waterproof, keeps the wind out, has nice pockets and drawstrings for the bottom and hood, and comes in nice colors. Would definitely recommend over other jackets that cost way more. I also saved a lot of money with the student discount.

Great quality

Lost an older version of this jacket and had to replace it. The new version is just as good! Great quality, keeps you dry, and packs down really small.

Highly recommended. I’ve owned a Fineline shell for two years now and love it. It’s well designed, well made and durable. It still repels water like it was brand new. Living in the Southeast I’ve worn it in many heavy thunderstorms and never had a leak or soak through. This despite it regularly being tossed in the back seat of my truck or the corner of the sofa after use. The fit: I’m 5’7” and at the time I bought it I was 165 pounds. I got a medium which fit me well with plenty of room for layering at that time. Since then I’ve dropped to 155 pounds. The medium still fits but is a little baggy without a jacket underneath. About to order a second one in a small to remedy this.

Perfect for skiing in Tahoe. Sleeves too long.

This shell fits right over my puff jacket. It's easy to stow away in a small backpack or sling bag. The flexibility allows easy movement without feeling stiff. My only gripe is that the sleeves are too long. It would be nice to see a shorter sleeve option for people with shorter arms.

The shell that can do anything

This shell can take a beating and keep going whether it be the rain, the wind, or the cold! Recently used it to skin up ski slopes in the white mountains when the weather was in the single digits with just a base layer and a vest underneath. Also have used it on rainy days while hiking. The color pops and provides good visibility while the construction of the seems and hood provides quality protection from anything mother nature has to throw at you! Packs down small so that you can always have it in your pack to be prepared.

Versatile Shell

Works really well for trial running and climbing as a rain shell. It also works great for skiing, does very well in the snow. Good windbreaker as well. And on top of all that it's super light for packing.

Top-Notch Jacket

Top-notch jacket. Sizing is slightly smaller than my other BD gear so keep that in mind especially if you're trying to layer underneath.

Using it on lighter Nordic days. Love the breathability and comfort. Fit is great.
