MY GO TO TRAIL SHOE
I have had 4 or 5 pairs of these over the years, interspersed with other shoes. I always return to them. The Gortex is pretty reliable, seems to wear off/away after a few seasons, but worth the extra money for the initial miles. I am in between a 7 and a 7.5 for most shoes and like the fit and feel of the 7 in Salomon. The laces are the best!! You don't have to worry about your shoes coming untied during a run.

Amazing for snow/muddy days!
First time I purchase Gore-Tex shoes, and I was worried at first about the snug fit I wasn't aware Gore Tex shoes had. I went on a walk first with the shoes and no problems since then but if you do long runs, perhaps size up just half a size if you can't try them on before (take my advice with a grain of salt). The shoes have been AMAZING on snowy days running on the trails and now that everything is melting and it's super muddy. The shoes obviously do stain as soon as you get some mud on it but not as bad as what I thought. I love the color and the fit/feel is great as soon as you are on soft ground. Really recommend. Hard to speak on the durability but most of my Salomon shoes last for years, so I expect these to be the same as long as runs are not done on paved streets (your body will most likely give up before your shoes if you do that with the Speedcross anyways!)

Comfortable out of the box
Got these for light hiking. Took them on a 5 mile hike (outdoor walk) straight out of the box and they felt like they were already broken in. Very lightweight and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.

Best shoes ever!!
I wear the speed cross 6 for all of my outdoor walking, hiking, etc. they have THE best grip and comfort of any shoe I’ve ever put on and they’re waterproof!

Love them!!
Fit is perfect, true to size and comfortable right out of the box! Not only do the feel great and look great they also performed perfectly!!! Already had them in mud, snow, and semi loose dirt and had all the traction I needed and feet stayed dry and comfortable!

My favorite shoes!
Just bought my third pair of Solamon speed cross running shoes. I walk 12000 steps a day and climb steep hills in the woods. I had flat feet my whole 62 years. These shoes are extremely comfortable. I bought the winter hiking shoes too. Great products!
