New favorite hiking shirt

I wore this shirt hiking in the Utah National Parks this month and it was the absolute best piece of gear to bring. Quick drying, incredibly breathable, and protected me in the 85 degree sun. I wore it most days while wearing a pack and there’s absolutely no pilling on the fabric where the pack made contact

I noticed that this shirt is thin. Backcountry's product description says UPF rating is 50+. Yet, the tag says UPF of 30.

Great Shirt but please answer my question!!!

Great shirts! Could always use more solid colours! But one question to the designers…why the odd choice of slanting the fabric orientation on the left front shoulder/chest? It really keeps the piece as an outdoor garment and limits the wearability in a travel/city situation.

Great lightweight shirt. Work in the private security sector. Have nearly every color of the Astroman line. OR makes some quality products. Been using them since working in SOF.

I put this to the test

Great shirt. I've with our 2. I have a Med and a Large and both fit week (510/180). Can't say enough good about this shirt. Classy, protective, form fitting. I hunt, fish, shoot prs matches, do yard work, and eat dinner out in this thing. I live in AZ and sun protection is a must. Everyone 2-3 of these. I've used them heavily for 3 years and they are just starting to look worn. That's pretty fair, other shirts don't get that far.

Great short

This shirt is super light and comfortable. I wear this when kayaking. Breathes well and protects from the sun. It’s a tad brighter color than anticipated, which is just my personnel preference. But overall a great shirt for outdoor activity then out to eat or drinks.

Good shirt, however, it will only last one season!

I bought this shirt before the summer backpacking/hiking season started. It is a GREAT shirt; looks good, feels good, works well (keeps you cool). UNFORTUNATELY, it appears to be made from hopes and dreams...for the shirt began to melt and fall apart before halfway through summer. Mind you, backpacking days were only 4 trips about 4 days each, the rest was day hiking. Sadly the shirt will probably last only one more season--if the wife allows it. Damage: weird bubbling around the cuffs, lots of parts where its getting fuzzy/worn through. (Sadly I am at work and can't snap photos!)

The best outdoor shirt

I wore this same shirt every day for over a month on a backpacking trip, and it was solid the entire time. I love the fabric, and the fact that it has snap buttons is awesome. The ventilation is great, and it keeps me from getting sunburnt. It dries in less than ten minutes in the sun and does a good job of odor management.
