L/XL socks always fit me, until now.
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I wear a size 11.5 to 12 shoe so I bough the L/XL sock as I always do. I could not get them over my heel and had to give them to a friend because I tore them slightly. Otherwise they appeared to be a good quality product. As I am finding with all Castelli stuff, expect to go waay up on sizing.

Foot gauze
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Foot size: EU 44 / US 10.5 Very thin and definitely only for the hottest days or longest rides. They are about half the thickness as the socks I train with. They do have arch support, but are definitely not as supportive as more orthopedic/barostatic socks.

EXTREMELY SMALL
Nice sock but they run VERY small. I am a size 12 shoe and got XXL and could not even get them over my heel. I gave them to my wife who is a women's size 7 shoe and they fit her perfectly, so an XXL sock is a women's size 7.

they run small
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These are great, but I wear a size 10 shoe and I ordered a L/XL. After washing these were way to small and I ripped them putting them on. Order a size up.

Ripped the first time...
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- XXL
- Height:
- 6' 3"

...I put them on. Not sure if I got a bunk pair but they ripped without pulling super hard. Extremely small for XXL size, maybe they were mislabeled. Excellent service from Backcountry in refunding me.
